Old West Christmas Lights Fest
Enchanted Springs Ranch needs to be on your list if you are looking for some merry, Western fun! This historic ranch with rustic buildings and an amazing farm atmosphere turns into a twinkling wonderland!
We visited this western fun fest this past weekend and LOVED it. It had been on our Christmas activity list for a couple years, and we finally made it happen and are SO glad we did! Old West Christmas Lights Fest completely exceeded our expectations with amazing light displays, adorable western buildings, and fun activities around every corner.
Tour the buildings, play laser tag, ride the mechanical bull, and munch on tasty treats. And when you are done with that, head through the hay maze, challenge yourself in the scavenger hunt, and twirl though the light tunnels.
Included in your admission are live music shows, touring the lights, a scavenger hunt where you search for adorable cows, cookie decorating, face painting, a children’s playground, and more.
My older children especially loved the fun photo spots and the scavenger hunt was their highlight! Get one postcard for each person that wants to participate when you enter the ranch! A couple of the cows are pretty tricky – look in every building and outside every building (even around the corners, hint, hint).
Laser tag, mechanical bull riding, and dinner at the food trucks are an added expense if you want to participate. We bought hamburgers ($11) and hotdogs ($6), but they also had kettle corn, tacos, nachos, caramel apples, and more.
Pro Tip! Arrive right at 5pm when they open! It is is so fun to see the ranch before the sun goes down and then to see it come alive then the sky goes black. Some of the cute photo spots are best when it is still light out – looking at you giant cowboy boot!
This event runs weekends from Thanksgiving until December 23rd from 5-10pm. You’ll want to reserve tickets in advance!
