Hill Country gem, Marble Falls is not to be missed any time of the year – but especially not during the holidays! Marble Falls’ Christmas lights go beyond your average display as they deck out the town with millions of twinkling lights.

Walkway of Lights
From Mid-November through the end of December (starting November 18 this year), Lakeside Park is covered in two million lights leaving guests in awe and eyes bright. The Walkway of Lights is an incredible display of Christmas lights in Marble Falls is made up of over two million lights and hundreds of lighted sculptures. The reflection off of Lake Marble Falls makes for a magical view!
Admission to this holiday spectacular event is FREE and open nightly through the season. Don’t miss one of the sweetest towns in Hill Country this Christmas!
Downtown Tree Lighting
The official official town Christmas Tree is located in Harmony Park and starts off the season with a community tree lighting ceremony in mid-November. In 2022, it is on Friday, November 11th. Bring your blanket and snacks as a holiday movie on the lawn typically takes place afterward.

Light-Up Christmas Parade
If you thought this would be the end of Marble Falls’ Christmas Lights, you’d be wrong! If possible, try to visit the first week of December so that you can also attend the Light-Up Christmas parade on December 2nd for an even greater experience with the Christmas Lights in Marble Falls. The parade is made up of local families and businesses who will make their way down the main street, US -281, and ends at Lakeside Park’s Walkway of Lights.
Stop by early pick up hot beverages from Numinous Coffee Roasters (they close at 5!) or a picnic dinner from Bear King Brewing Company, and then claim your spot for prime viewing with a blanket and chairs.

Ice Skating in the Park
Check out Downtown Marble Falls’ ice skating rink for a magical experience on the ice. Make reservations in advance in order to save some cash, and lace up your skates any night of the week. Mondays are Thursdays are when the snow falls on the ice and visiting on a Tuesday gives you discounted tickets. The rink is open from 5pm-10pm nightly so you can skate till you drop!
Ice Sculptures
Head to Main Street in early December for their annual live ice sculpture carving and lessons. Old Oak Square presents this fun and unique holiday activity. Check the calendar for details!
Christmas Market on Main
Head to Main Street the first Saturday of December for local holiday shopping from over 50 vendors, bakery treats, and lunch at a downtown brewery.
